Dr. Stan Parris
Associational Missions Strategist
Franklin County Baptist Association
Stan Parris is the Senior Pastor at Franklin Heights Baptist Church. He has also served as President of the Southern Baptist Convention of Virginia and currently serves as Executive Director of the FHC Network, equipping churches to plant, revitalize, and replant communities of faith around the world. In addition, Stan serves as Associational Missions Strategist for the Franklin County Baptist Association, where he works alongside pastors and churches to strengthen ministry partnerships, encourage church health, and advance the Gospel throughout the region.
A native of Waynesville, North Carolina, he earned a BA degree from the University of Tennessee, a Master’s degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor’s degree from Asbury Theological Seminary.
Pastor Stan and his wife, Susan, are proud parents to sons, Briggs and Glenn.
